What type of equipment does Kids Mobility Network provide?

Kids Mobility Network is a non-profit organization that assists families in attaining the appropriate DME for their children with disabilities.  Our primary focus is providing wheelchairs, walkers, standers and similar equipment.

If you have additional needs, please note it on your application as we may have such equipment or we may have a resource in the community that can assist with this.

How to get Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for your child:

Kids Mobility Network has a warehouse full of quality medical equipment that are available for appropriate children TODAY!  If your child or a child you know does not have adequate equipment that allows him or her to access their community in an optimal manner, please complete an application today so we can help.

Our warehouse is large and we have an inventory that consists of hundreds of pieces of equipment that changes continuously.  Please do not call to ask if we have something in stock.  The appropriate process is to complete an application and submit to Kids Mobility Network, which provides us with the information necessary to match the appropriate DME to the applicant.

The Kids Mobility Network Application Process

  1. Download the application (click here)

  2. Complete the application in its entirety

  3. Be sure to provide a letter of medical necessity from the child's doctor or healthcare professional

  4. Submit the application to Kids Mobility Network

  5. Someone may contact you to discuss the applicant's needs

  6. Once matched, we'll contact you to arrange a fitting

  7. At delivery, we ask families for a donation to help us keep our organization operating (Scholarships available to families that can not make donations - please note on your application if a scholarship is requested).  Suggested minimum donations are:

  • Miscellaneous DME - $100

  • Walker/Gait Trainer - $150

  • Stander - $200

  • Manual Wheelchair - $200

  • Power Wheelchair - $500 (plus the cost of batteries)

  • Adaptive Bike - $150

All equipment grants are on a first-come, first-serve basis.  While we have many pieces of equipment, we may not have the appropriate equipment for your child.  Applications are kept on file to match the right equipment to applicants as it is donated to the organization.  The timing of your application is critical to ensure a timely match for your child.  Get your application in today.

At any give time, Kids Mobility Network is working dozens of applications, so it can take a few weeks for our small team to process your application.

Our inventory changes regularly as our generous donors provide newly acquired equipment.  Get your application in today!  We have not turned down an application yet!
